National Sorry Day

Of the 365 days of each calendar year, there are only four days that are national days of commemoration focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. One is National Sorry Day on 26 May.


The Long Walk and Dreamtime at the 'G

Date: 2016-05-28 | Time:12 noon

This community event, including a free concert, will commence at Federation Square at noon, with the annual Walk to Dreamtime at the ‘G starting at 4.30 pm. This year the Dreamtime Walkers will undertake a whole lap of the MCG with Michael Long and other officials and celebrities.


Yingadi Immersion 2016 - Lake Mungo and Balranald

Mokoan Music Festival at Winton Wetlands

Mokoan Music Fest will be a unique contemporary music experience in the great outdoors. Deborah Cheetham and the Dungala Children’s Choir leads a line up that will give you sounds from close to home and around the globe.


Tour of Budj Bim / LRG Forum

Reconciliation Victoria AGM and Annual Statewide Forum

Our AGM is being held in conjunction with ANTaR Victoria’s AGM and a Reconciliation Forum, with guest speaker Clare Land and entertainment by Monica Weightman and friends.  Morning tea and Lunch will be provided.


Protests against forced closures

The third global call to action to stop the forced closures of remote Aboriginal communities takes place 26 - 28 June.  Once again there will be rallies happening all over Australia.
