'I Feel Proud Today' Community Breakfast

The Melbourne community is invited to gather on the banks of the Yarra at Birrarung Marr, 8.00am Monday morning, 13th February, to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations.
The organisations, communities and individuals represented want to acknowledge the importance of the Apology in the journey towards healing and recognition.
We will begin this special day with dance, songs, stories and tucker.
'I Feel Proud Today' badges will be distributed to ensure that our shared story will not be forgotten. Everyone wearing a badge will be entitled to a free coffee and damper breakfast.

- MC - Jade Johnson, Connecting Home
- Welcome to Country including smoking ceremony and dance
- Oration of the text of the National Apology
- Stories about the Apology from Stolen Generations survivors
- Kutcha Edwards speaking and performing his renowned songs
When: 8.00–10.00am Mon 13th Feb.
Where: Birrarung Wilam Installation, Birrarung Marr (near ArtPlay building)
