Reconciliation Victoria has an exciting opportunity to appoint a CEO to lead our organisation, joining our small team of passionate and skilled staff. This new full-time role was created following an organisational review, to manage our workload and achieve our strategic plan.

We are seeking an experienced collaborator who shares our values and vision.

Reconciliation Victoria's vision is to create a Victorian identity that reflects our true history, promotes and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and ensures equity and self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our work focusses on engaging non-aboriginal Victorians to develop deeper understanding, respect and justice for and with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

To ensure success in this role, it is essential that you:

• Have experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities

• Have a thorough knowledge of the reconciliation agenda and the Victorian context

• Have the ability to secure and grow our financial base

• Are able to lead the staff and Council in implementing new structures
