On Thursday 24 March 2022, Victorians witnessed the official launch of the Yoorrook Justice Commission hearings.  Marking the beginning of the first ever truth-telling process in Australia.

The Commission will investigate both the historical and contemporary injustices committed against First Peoples since colonisation. The beginning of this crucial truth-telling process is a significant step towards Treaty and reconciliation.  

The Yoo-rrook Justice Commission will deliver its interim report in June.
