Join us in Naarm Voices!

Rec Vic and Darebin Solidarity with First Peoples are organising a singing group to participate in Voices for Reconciliation.
We’re calling it Naarm Voices.

It’s open to anyone to join in!
This year’s song is the iconic Midnight Oil song Beds are Burning!

If you’d like to be part of Naarm Voices please register your interest here.

Everyone is welcome – no singing ability required, just bring your enthusiasm, good will and desire for understanding, respect and justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

We'll rehearse the song and then perform it for a video (you can see last year's here).

Date: Sunday 10 May (yes Mothers’ Day – please feel free to bring your kids!)
Time: 3:00 -5:00pm.
Venue: Aborigines Advancement League, 2 Watt Street Thornbury.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, so come and join us for some fun and singing!
