Country, Connection and Reflection Reconciliation Victoria Education Webinar

On Thursday 24 November 2022, Reconciliation Victoria hosted an online webinar open to all educators wanting to incorporate First Nations teaching into their practice.

Rec Vic Education Officer, Jo Drummond and Rec Vic Co-Chair Uncle Shane Charles, reflected on connection to Country from a First Nations perspective.
‍

Jo and Uncle Shane discussed ways to connect Country to the classroom through traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge and perspectives.


We were thrilled with the responses and questions from attendees, especially many educators who were passionate about engaging more with topics like truth-telling, reconciliation and First Nations knowledge.
